Testimonials

Danielle & Chris (England)

Chris and I would like to thank you Massi for making our day so special and for putting up with the abrupt emails and phone calls from Bridezilla.  You listened to all our requirements and ensured we got everything we asked for.  A special thank you for making the whole day come together and run so smoothly, you really were a pleasure to meet and you made the day run so smoothly.

The photographer & camera man (apologies we did not get the names), the photographs were taken at
leisure without being intrusive, very professional and polite. We cannot wait to see the photos, same
applies to the DVD.

Officials Palazzo Cavalli, this was a beautiful ceremony and all officials were very welcoming.  Owner Palazzo Pisani, we were overwhelmed by the splendour of the house and this is something we will
remember forever. Thank you to all staff, housekeepers and waiting on staff.

Massi, the Catering company you chose was absolutely perfect!!!  The food and service was faultless and well recommended, the timing was impeccable, wine was served unobtrusively, cake as requested, simple yet effective and the filling was delicious.

Tables were decorated beautifully and the candelabras looked very regal.  Florist, the brides and bridesmaids bouquets were very pretty and the arrangements on the tables at the reception were very grand.

Thank you to all for making our day Truly Perfect!

We must say that we are today still thinking of this wedding, just amazing, it was all we expected and more.  We are so happy with all you did for us. It was a very emotional time for the two of us and you just made it all happen.  If we were to do it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing, oh yeah I would plan a little more ahead of time. We want to give you a hand and say “BRAVO” we are very pleased with all you did.

Dear Massi,

The wedding is just a few days ago and despite the fact that we are working again in our offices, we are still a little bit on Lake Como!

It was “Unforgettable”! I was of course a little bit stressed.  Planning something from one country to another, by mail and phone is also a little bit of an adventure, but I must say it was better than expected. So we were really satisfied and our guests too!

Your photographer was really perfect, a very friendly person, very patient! I hope the photos will be nice too. The flowers were exactly what we wanted = perfect!  The garden of the palazzo was very beautiful and we really appreciate it.
The cocktail, especially the “Bellini Cocktail” was very nice; everything was fine. The boat-tour was nice and the tour a very nice one.

Last but not least, absolutely nothing to bad to say about the Hotel. The manager was very professional! Everything was really, really perfect! The Marco Polo Room is a very beautiful place!!!

The musicians were also fantastic. I would suggest them to everyone.

So what else today? Again and again: Thank you very, very much Massi!

We will certainly return, maybe next year?! Maybe at the same Hotel…!!! What was funny too, all the “Auguri” in the streets! The gondola ride to the town hall was also fantastic.  A MUST!  We are quite sure that we will be in many photo-albums of many tourists!!!

We would recommend your organization to everyone who would like to plan a wedding! Our wedding day was worry-free, only enjoyment, nothing to do!!!

Best times to get married in Italy

Italy is fortunate to have many different climates, and therefore it will not be a problem to find the perfect setting and weather for your wedding…

If you wish to marry in the snow, or on a beach, it’s possible to do so within the very same day. You will simply need to choose your preferred destination and setting, and it will be no problem to make it happen!!!  Consider in fact that from Sicily to the Alps, it can be both summer and winter at the same time.

The only suggestion that I can give you, is to choose the period of the year according to your ideal setting. If you in fact wish to enjoy the “Bella Vita” strolling along with tourists and VIPs, it would be best to choose summer months such as July or August, either on the Amalfi Coast, or in Lake Como.

If you prefer to have a relaxed atmosphere, any destination will do, but the best months are from April through October, excluding July and August. This way you would be able to enjoy the sun in a peaceful setting that is very often the preferred one for a Wedding.

Of course, in the Winter, we can always plan a snow Wedding in Cortina, or a sunny location in Sicily…The choice is yours because in Italy, the good thing is you will never go wrong!!!

Castle Brown ~ Portofino, Italy

The name Brown Castle comes from Sir Montague Yeats Brown, English Consul in Genoa and the castle’s owner from 1867 to 1949. The fortress has Roman foundations, and throughout the century it has seen the dominion of the Republic of Genoa, English and Austrian forces, the Napoleonic Army, and in the end, the Kingdom of Sardinia. From 1867 it was transformed from a military fortress into a private residence, and in 1961 it was purchased by Portofino’s Town Council.

With its commanding location overlooking Portofino’s Bay, sightseeing from Castle Brown offers a unique and incomparable scenario of rare beauty.
